Got something happening in Bristol and the surrounding region? Add your event to VisitBristol.co.uk for free and get in front of visitors looking for something to do in the city and region. From festivals and food events to live music, theatre, comedy, and exhibitions. If it's an event that visitor may like to attend, we want to hear about it.

Complete the form below with as much detail as possible. The more you include, the better your event will show up in search results and on-site discovery.

Before You Submit

Key Information

• Location: We only accept events taking place within the Greater Bristol area.

• Acceptance: Not every submission will be accepted. We review each event before publishing and may decline those that fall outside the Greater Bristol area or don't feel like the right fit for a visitor-facing audience. If we're not able to list your event, we'll let you know by email.

• Processing time: Submissions can take up to two weeks to review - please factor this into your planning.

• Members get priority: Visit West members are reviewed first. Non-member submissions may take a little longer. Find out more about membership.

Image Requirements

Events without images won't be accepted. Please include one landscape .jpg image, sized 1220x715 pixels, with a maximum file size of 2MB.

Design tip: The website automatically crops images at different sizes across different pages. Keep any text or logos away from the edges - if they're essential, keep them centred. Get in touch if you need advice after submitting.

Please note: By uploading an image, you confirm that you hold the copyright and/or accept responsibility for any related copyright claims. Images may be used across the Visit Bristol website and social media channels.

Tips for a Strong Listing

Content and SEO

• Write 1- 4 paragraphs about your event. More detail helps search engines and AI overviews and helps people decide whether to come along.

• Write in the third person - avoid "I", "we", or "us". For example: "Bristol Zoo Gardens welcomes families for a spooky Halloween trail…"

• Use sentence case in your title and description. No ALL CAPS please. For example: "Family Fun Day at Blaise Castle" not "FAMILY FUN DAY AT BLAISE CASTLE".

• Include the venue name in your event title where relevant, it helps people find you. For example: "Valentine's Evening at Bristol Aquarium."

• Contact details: Only include a phone number or email address if you're happy for it to be publicly visible.

Booking and Website Links

Where available, we may use affiliate links for "Book Now" buttons. Visit West members will always have their "Visit Website" link directed to their own website, as submitted.
