Bristol is home to its very own coffee festival as well as an array of coffee roasters based in around the city - look out for them on the menu boards of the city’s independent coffee shops, or ask the barista if you can try something roasted locally!

Most of Bristol’s coffee shops sell yummy cakes, pastries as well as lots of good alternatives for non-caffeine drinkers too, from herbal teas to hot chocolates.

If you’re looking for something a bit sturdier, many cafes also have a selection of sandwiches, soups and baked goods to fill you up. The main shopping areas in the city not only have well-known high street brands, but are also a haven of independent cafes and restaurants, where you’re never short of a place to stop to fill up on wholesome, locally-sourced food.

Many of Bristol’s attractions and venues also have great cafes where you can get a bite to eat, including St George’s Bristol, Bristol Old Vic, RWA, Arnolfini and Spike Island.
