You can apply for up to £5,000 (including VAT).
The funding can be to continue something you are already doing, for a new activity, or testing new ideas.
Each selected artist will be supported by a representative of the BAS10 Bristol partners, who will provide mentoring support and advice.
Please read the full artist brief here.
Artists will be asked to submit the following information via the form below, which will ask them to submit:
Outline of their proposed project, detailing how the project will respond to the British Art Show 10 themes.
Outline budget, detailing how the Grant amount will be used.
Details of venue(s) or collaborating organisation(s) if already known.
Indicative timeline of activity.
Artist CV and / or portfolio including links to relevant projects.

All applications must be submitted by 12pm on Wednesday 15 December 2026.
Successful applicants will be contacted by email by Monday 11 January 2027.
Due to the anticipated volume of applications we are unable to contact unsuccessful applicants or offer feedback.
You can apply for 100% of the funding you need for the project, or you can combine it with other funding you have, or are applying for from other sources, to increase the scale of your project.
A grant can be towards any reasonable costs for your organisation or project, including core or running costs and / or project and activity costs.
Artists will be selected by a panel made-up of representatives from the BAS 10 Bristol partners, Visual Arts South West, and an external creative practitioner.
Submit your activity to the Bristol Fringe and be part of British Art Show 10. Get listed on a citywide map and promoted to new audiences across the UK.
