Greek mythology for 8-12 year olds (23-28 July)

Two summer schools will be offered – one for those aged 8-12, which will delve into Greek myths, Norse Gods, Vikings, beasts and heroes! The day’s activities will include warm up games, singing, teambuilding, acting and script work.

Bold theatre, live music and lots of noise – Orpheus for 13-19 year olds (23-28 July)

The older group for 13-19 year olds will tackle the musical myth of Orpheus. Within the schools, participants will be divided into performing groups with others of a similar age (e.g. 8 -9 years, 10-12 years, 13-15 years and 16-19 years).

For these music-themed summer schools, Tobacco Factory Theatres is particularly keen to hear from young musicians and anyone who ever fancied learning more about composition or how music is used in live theatre.
