My Bristol Food and Drink

Bristol is a food lover's paradise. We have some of the best independent restaurants serving freshly prepared, home-cooked food from the finest ingredients in the South West. Bristol was European Green Capital for 2015 so why not come and experience some of our most eco-friendly restaurants who have all been recognised for their sustainability.

Bristol is a perfect location for a romantic weekend away and we can recommend some of our finest restaurants to give that special person in your life an extra special treat.

But romantic dining in Bristol doesn't have to be all about flowers on the table and Champagne on arrival; perhaps you have a favourite type of cuisine, would like to dine al fresco on the waterfront or would love to eat on one of the many boats that have been transformed into beautiful restaurants and bars.

Many restaurants also cater for group bookings, including stag and hen weekends, but be sure to book in advance so you're not disappointed.

The city makes a great family adventure and there are plenty of family-friendly restaurants in Bristol to choose from, including special menus for the children, high chairs for the little ones and activities to keep them entertained. We've also got many dog-friendly bars and restaurants, if you have your four-legged friend with you.

No matter where you end up, each area has a good mix of chain restaurants and places that you will only find in Bristol.
