The flagship event of Scare Season in Bristol has to be FEAR at Avon Valley Scream Park, where you can enjoy #ABloodyGoodNight in their award-winning scare mazes, scream on the funfair rides and watch their fire show. Meet the Witch of Wookey Hole and explore some creepy caves, or see some ghoulish characters aboard the ship at Brunel's SS Great Britain.

You can also see a spookier side of local attractions with Halloween activities at Bristol Zoo Project, Bristol Aquarium and the Grand Pier in Weston-super-Mare.

If you're looking for some tamer Halloween activities, go pumpkin picking at Avon Valley or explore some beautiful autumn trails at Noah's Ark Farm, Tyntesfield, Dyrham Park.
