Pinkmans have cafe-bakeries dotted across the city, from Clifton and Stokes Croft to Bristol Cathedral and Wapping Wharf.

Most of Bristol’s coffee shops sell yummy cakes, pastries, as well as lots of good alternatives for non-caffeine drinkers too, from herbal teas to hot chocolates. If you’re looking for something a bit sturdier, many cafes also have a selection of sandwiches, soups and baked goods to fill you up.

Head to Watershed, Arnolfini, No.1 Harbourside or Mud Dock for a cuppa with a harbour view, or Dareshack, Spicer + ColeSmall St Espresso and Full Court Press for speciality coffee.

If you're in need of some grab 'n' go bites with plenty of vegan or gluten-free options, try Press Cafe in Redcliffe or one of the many food vendors at St Nicholas Market.

Looking for something a bit different? Sample some Moomin-themed boba teas and lemonades at CUPP x Moomin Boba House or take a seat in the old dining hall of Bristol Castle in the Vaulted Chambers Cafe in Castle Park.

The main shopping areas in the city not only have well-known high street brands, but are also a haven of independent cafes and restaurants, where you’re never short of a place to stop to fill up on wholesome, locally-sourced food.

Many of Bristol’s attractions and venues also have great cafes where you can get a bite to eat, including St George’s Bristol, Bristol Old Vic, RWA, and Spike Island.
