Avon Valley Adventure and Wildlife Park turns 30 this year, marking three decades of family fun and animal experiences at the attraction in the beautiful Keynsham countryside, between Bristol and Bath. To celebrate, they’ve got some extra exciting summer plans lined up. Everyone is invited to join in the activities and make some memories at the park this #SummerinBristol.

Summer Pass

A special Summer Pass to Avon Valley is now available, giving you unlimited entry to the park throughout the entire summer holiday. It costs £30 per person for a pass and will guarantee you up to 44 days’ worth of fun and adventure, come rain or shine thanks to the whatever-the-weather mix of things to do on offer.

Kids can have their first off-road experience on the Mini Jeep Safari track; meet their favourite animals in the barn, from reptiles to ducks; ride the Strawberry Line, the UK’s longest 5-inch gauge railway; wear off some energy on the jumping pillows…the list goes on and on!

As if that wasn’t enough, the Summer Pass also covers entry to the Minions Weekend (27 & 28 July), 30th Birthday Weekender (30 Aug to 1 September) and Chair-o-Planes carousel rides for children on every visit. Plus, you’ll receive 10% off retail and catering outlets across the park, which includes the brand new onsite restaurant The Woodland Kitchen.

30th Years Birthday Weekender (31 August – 1 September)

A milestone birthday deserves a party and the Avon Valley team are making theirs last all weekend long. The 30th celebrations are taking over the park on 31 August and 1 September, when there will be live music from Andy & the Odd Socks and the Twerzels, a meet and greet Trolls Poppy and Branch and so much more to look forward to. With its date near the end of the school holidays, it’s a great way to round off a summer in Bristol with the family.

The Birthday Weekender tickets are now on sale and with limited availability we recommend purchasing tickets in advance to secure your invitation. Choose between a weekend, Saturday or Sunday ticket, which you can buy here.

Family Water Fight (30 August)

If you fancy finishing summer with a splash, then the huge Family Water Fight on Friday 30 August is the best time to visit the park. The infamous annual event is the biggest water fight in the area, featuring slip ‘n’ slides, a foam party, an under 5s zone and more. Again, we recommend booking your tickets in advance, as this event is very popular.

Still to come in 2019 at Avon Valley Adventure and Wildlife Park

The fun doesn’t end when summer does – Avon Valley have plenty more in store for their 30th year, including Halloween-themed entertainment for the children such as the return of Avon Valley's infamous 'pick your own' with a huge pumpkin patch. And for the grown-ups, ScareCon’s Best Scream Park FEAR returns for select dates in October. Fireworks will be lighting up the park in a spectacular display in November and there’s also the chance to take a trip to the North Pole to visit Father Christmas in December.
