This week's #FoodFriday features fan-tache-tic foodie favourites from a man with now a world famous moustache, Jimmy Ladgrove.

As well as encouraging the people of Bristol to grow their moustache this month for Movember, Jimmy has picked his favourite hangouts in Bristol for drinks and good times.

Prince Street Social

Known for hosting one of the best bottomless brunches in Bristol, Prince Street Social is a modern, stylish and dog-friendly venue. From bingo nights, to themed quizzes & even a Disney Bottomless Brunch, their great range of events have kept me entertained for years. Perfectly situated next to Bristol’s vibrant harbourside, PSS has a tasty range of cocktails with a 2-4-1 happy hour. It’s a chilled place to hang during the day & is buzzing in the evening. I’d recommend their lunchtime steak sandwich. I’m most looking forward to their upcoming Drag Bing-Mo event.

King Street Brew House

No longer known just as a great venue for watching sport, King Street Brew House now host an array of interesting events from Drag Queen Bingo to Ru Paul viewing parties. The micro-brewery has been one of my favourite places to drink and hangout since it opened as it’s perfect in summer and cosy in winter. A whopping 80% of their beer selection is brewed on-site. I’d recommend a pint of “White Trash” a popular IPA that has been rebranded as “White Tache” for November, with 40p from each pint going to the Movember charity. They’ve also recently launched an amazing pizza menu. They are huge (14 inches), great value & are 50% off every Monday!

Moor Beer Tap Room

Tucked away just behind Temple Meads Railway Station is the Moor Beer Tap Room. Being a craft beer fan, this is a great little place to hangout. Their beer offering is huge and the staff are passionate, knowledgeable and very friendly. I’d recommend their sour beers.

Black Rock Whiskey Bar

This is my favourite new edition to the vibrant nightlife in Bristol. Black Rock hold a stock of over 400 whiskeys from all around the world. That may sound daunting, but don't worry as the team here have one goal and that is to simplify Whiskey. They are conveniently organised into 6 flavoured categories and 3 price points, so whether you’re in the mood for smokey, fruity or feeling a bit spicy, they’ll have you covered. Apart from the great lighting, I love the 220 year old oak tree that is filled with a cocktail!

Crying Wolf

This place ticks all the boxes for me! The team here believe in making things by hand and with love and it certainly shows. Their attention to detail, quality of ingredients and premium offering is impressive. Every time I’ve been here I’ve had incredible service. The bar snacks are next level. I’d definitely recommend this place for a great date night.
