Coach Parking in Bristol

The city's new coach park at Bristol Fruit Market opened during the summer of  2017 and is fully operational.

There are marked spaces for up to 20 coaches but room for more if there is demand. The site has 24-hour security and facilities for drivers, including an on-site café and toilets available. There is also plenty of choice nearby with the city centre just a short distance away as well as the Paintworks development, Avonmeads Retail Park and other local attractions.

Christmas markets 2017

Tour operators and group organisers running trips to Bristol's Christmas markets should be advised that drop-off and pick-up is via Bond Street South, BS1 3LX (point eight on the downloadable map above). There is no coach parking facility at Cabot Circus. All coaches should then proceed to park at Bristol Fruit Market detailed below. A suggested route to avoid most congestion is listed here:

Proceed to St James Barton roundabout and take the fourth exit, returning towards M32. Exit M32 at junction 3 following signs for A4320 (Bath, A4). Continue across Lawrence Hill Roundabout and St Phillips Causeway, turning right at the Avonmeads Roundabout towards Bristol Fruit Market. The coach park is directly ahead at the next roundabout.

November/December 2017 - Temporary overnight closure of Cumberland Road parking bays

Due to resurfacing works, please be advised that with effect from 20 November 2017 no coaches will be able to park in the bays on Cumberland Road between the times of 1800-0600 on Monday to Friday evenings.  This stage of the work is scheduled to last until Friday 15 December, however please bear in mind that this is subject to change and could be extended due to weather constraints.

Routes to the Coach Park

Please be aware of low bridges in the area. Follow these routes:

From City Centre via Bath Road (A4), turning left over the river at the traffic lights approximately 300 metres past Three Lamps Junction and then right onto Albert Road.
