Masa + Mezcal is a lively Mexican Cantina in the heart of Stokes Croft, the cultural heart of the city. Born from a passion for the two magical M’s that make up the name, Masa + Mezcal was founded by the team behind Season + Taste who also run Bravas, Bakers & Co, Cargo Cantina and Gambas, after they fell in love with Mexico after their first visit over 15 years ago.

The food menu features Mexican inspired dishes, all of which are gluten free with a great selection of vegan and vegetarian dishes. Diners can expect clean fresh flavours made with high quality ingredients focusing on careful preparation and simplicity and those wanting to enjoy a drink can sample Masa + Mezcal’s extensive range of artisan mezcal, organic wines and locally produced beers.

Masa + Mezcal sits right in the heart of one of Bristol’s most creative quarters, Stoke’s Croft, boasting some of the best street art in the country. Admire Masa + Mezcal’s specially commissioned exterior mural by critically acclaimed local artist or take in a world-famous Banksy just metres away. Serving food all evening until 11:30pm Masa + Mezcal is the perfect spot for early evening drinks, dinner or late night snack or why not just park yourself in the window and while the evening away people watching, Margarita in hand!
