Bristol has an exciting and varied music scene, whether you want to watch low-key acoustic sets in record stores, classical concerts in a converted Georgian church, or raucous rock bands at an indie music venue. Club nights in Bristol
Take your pick from the nightclubs in Bristol, where you can choose from two dancelfoors at Circuit, booming drum 'n' bass at Lakota, house and pop at Electric Bristol, open air raves at The Prospect Building, subterranean sound systems at Basement 45, or famous DJs at Motion (voted as DJ Mag's 11th best club in the world and the UK's best large club) with plenty more in between. You can even dance the night away aboard Thekla, Bristol’s nightclub on a boat!
Head to The Fleece for Propaganda, an Indie and Alternative party every Saturday from 11pm - 4am. An undeniable institution of modern British club culture featuring a mind-blowing mix from Arctic Monkeys to The Vaccines, Paramore to The Killers, Bring Me The Horizon to Sam Fender, The 1975 to Wunderhorse and much more.
You'll find popular club nights at some smaller venues too, including Cosie's in St Pauls, Attic Bar, Love Inn, Cloak and The Croft on Stokes Croft, The Old Market Assembly, The Jam Jar and Exchange on Old Market, or Clock Factory, The Island, The Crown and Strange Brew in the city centre.
Summer brings a range of all-day parties and outdoor club nights, with buzzing terrace parties at Lost Horizon and Bambalan, and many of Bristol’s music venues also offer late-night shows and club nights, including Trinity Centre and Bristol Beacon. Keep an eye out for day raves at Motion and pop-up events in unusual locations from Alfresco Disco.

Bristol Safe Space at Night
Bristol now has a dedicated welfare and wellbeing service for anyone who needs somewhere safe while out in the city centre at night. Located on the central promenade opposite Bristol Hippodrome, Bristol Safe Space at Night is open every Friday and Saturday from 10pm to 4am.
The Safe Space is staffed by a first responder medic from Bristol Ambulance and a security marshal from CR2 Security, and offers:
- First aid from a trained First Responder
- Emergency phone charging
- Somewhere to sit, take a moment and regroup
- Feminine hygiene and sexual health products
- Blister plasters and other basic welfare essentials
- Drink spiking test kits and drink testing
- A friendly, non-judgemental person to talk to
- Information and signposting to other support in the city
- Help contacting other services, including medical support or the police, if needed
The service works closely with other organisations already patrolling the city centre, including Hope Against Suicide, Bristol Street Pastors and the Bristol BID Night Rangers, and is connected to local businesses through the city radio scheme.
The project is delivered by Bristol BID, Avon & Somerset Police, Bristol Ambulance and CR2 Security, with support from Bristol City Council, the University of Bristol, the University of the West of England, University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust, Hope Against Suicide, Buoy Events, the Bristol Marriott Royal Hotel and the Hoteliers Association.
