The Forge & Fern Cafè Bar & Restaurant serve specialist coffee, quality food & have a curated drinks menu.
The Forge & Fern opened its doors in July 2022 following a huge renovation, restoration and expansion project of an old pub site. The Forges team have transformed this space into a venue with delicious food and boutique interiors.
The Forge & Fern is on Broad Street, Staple Hill, just a stone’s throw away from Page Park.This is a family friendly, large venue with wheelchair access throughout, a big rear garden and a dog friendly terrace area. Local transport links are great being both on a main bus route from central Bristol and just a stone's throw from the Bristol to Bath cycle path too. There is a council run car park 50 metres away.
The menu includes small plates, Buxton Butcher Himalayan salt dry aged beef steaks, Bristol Beer Factory battered fillet of MSC approved cod & chips, Pork Belly, Mushroom Gratin, Smoked salmon, a selection of Burgers, Pesto Pasta, Salads and a comprehensive Little Ferns menu for small people and a very good choice for vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free options. The Forges team work with super local suppliers, makers, producers and growers keen to reduce their food miles and impact on the local environment whilst also recruiting locally and boosting the immediate economy. Seasonal updates are planned for the menu.
