Broadmead

Broadmead shopping centre in Bristol, part of Bristol Shopping Quarter, is well-known for its traditional department stores (Marks and Spencers, Debenhams, TK Maxx), high street favourites (Primark, Waterstones, Boots) and the place to get everyday items (Wilkos, Sainsbury Local, Tesco Metro).

But did you know, nestled amongst these are more than 90 independent shops and boutiques? A handy map is available from the Bristol Shopping Quarter website to help you explore what's on offer.

Connecting Broadmead and The Horsefair is The Arcade, a Grade II listed Victorian shopping arcade, which houses some beautiful boutique shops and independent cafes.

The pedestrianised area between Cabot Circus and The Galleries makes it a safe shopping experience for all the family and you'll often find street performers entertaining crowds with street dance and music. Watch out for the living statues too!

During December you will be dazzled by the sparkling lights of the Christmas Markets that stretch the whole way through Broadmead. Settle down for some gluhwein, sample homemade sweets and chocolates or buy gifts for loved ones; the market is a thriving, major yearly event for the area.
