Flying Machines Art Workshop for Families at Goldfinch Create & Play
About
Goldfinch invites you to join them for a special Saturday event centered around exploring flying machines through junk modelling. This open-ended session encourages participants to let their imaginations soar as they transform everyday household materials into amazing creations. With plenty of examples on display to inspire, participants of all ages are welcome to unleash their creativity. Pre-booking is essential for this workshop, which is part of Goldfinch's Seasonal Saturday Workshops for Families series held on the first Saturday morning of every month.
After the workshop, attendees are invited to enjoy lunch at Goldfinch's beautiful café in Westbury on Trym, Bristol. Additionally, participants can savor a complimentary hot drink in the café before or after their session. Each attendee, including adults and children, requires a separate ticket. Children under the age of two do not need a ticket for admission.
Goldfinch provides all necessary materials for creating, sourced from the Scrapstore, a reuse charity dedicated to diverting reusable waste from landfills. Located in the heart of Westbury-on-Trym, Goldfinch is an art café catering to both children and adults, offering a space for families to connect, create, learn, and grow. Inspired by nature and committed to fostering creativity, Goldfinch provides an environment where imaginations can flourish without the distractions of technology. They aim to nurture well-being and creativity by offering tools and materials to spark imagination while allowing individuals the freedom to explore and create at their own pace.
