About

Dating back to the 17th century, this pub is based in the bones of a farmhouse and today still boasts the same rustic, rural feel that it did all those years ago.

Holding onto many of its original features, guests can curl up next to a log fire, sink deep into a cosy sofa or take a stroll through the venue's cider orchard.

The bar serves a range of real ales, and is home to their own traditional cider brewed only a stone's throw away in their orchard.

Couple this with a hearty menu of classic British gastro pub treats, and you've got yourself the ideal location for a lazy weekend with the family.

Dogs are welcome in the pub and garden, dog treats are available.

But the poor lady in charge was alone and it was clearly impossible for her to keep up the pace during a busy lunchtime. The wait to be served was ridiculous. Poor lady should not be expected to... Read full review
