Horticulture Guided Walk at WWT Slimbridge Wetland Centre
About
Explore some of Slimbridge's most fascinating trees and plants and discover their exciting plans for the future, on this beautiful spring walk.
The walk will begin with a brief introduction to Slimbridge's site and safety before venturing out together.
Grounds Warden, Pip, has been part of the Slimbridge team for over 20 years, and has many tales to share of the past and present, as well as Slimbridge's exciting vision for the future. Her wealth of knowledge about the landscape and its planting is extensive as she has seen it evolve substantially over the last two decades.
Come and learn something new about Slimbridge's magical wetlands world, whether you're new to Slimbridge or an old friend. No previous knowledge is required!
This is a relaxed walk with lots of time to ask questions, satisfy your curiosity and expand your perspective of Slimbridge's wider wetlands landscape and its horticulture.
