Join the Bank Holiday Scarecrow Trail in the picturesque village of Pucklechurch, South Gloucestershire, just a short 30-minute drive from Bath and Bristol. It promises to be a fantastic family day out for the May bank holiday weekend.

Pick up your trail map, tickets, and clues/entry forms from St. Thomas a Becket church starting at 11:30 am on Sunday, May 5th, or from 10:30 am on Monday, May 6th. Family tickets (for 2 adults and 2 children) are priced at £5.00, with adult tickets at £2.00 each and £1.00 for children or students. While cards are accepted for tickets, please bring cash for purchases from stalls, as there are no ATMs in Pucklechurch.

Embark on a leisurely stroll through the village, identifying scarecrows hidden in gardens while exploring its historic houses and modern charms. Breathe in the fresh air and contribute to fundraising efforts for the village church.

During the event, St. Thomas a Becket church will offer sandwiches, cakes, and cream teas. Additionally, the village boasts two pubs, a post office with a village store, two cafes, a social club, and a bakery, providing ample opportunities to relax and dine between scarecrow sightings. There are also three play areas within the village, perfect for children to enjoy.

Submit your scarecrow entry forms by 4:00 pm each day. Answers will be presented on Monday at 4:00 pm in the church and posted on the scarecrow Facebook page during the following week.

Safety is paramount during the event, so please ensure the well-being of your children and vulnerable adults. While the church warmly welcomes visitors, supervision outside the church building is not provided.

Prizes await the best scarecrow, as voted by visitors, and for the most accurately guessed scarecrow names. The organizers eagerly anticipate welcoming everyone to this delightful event once again.
