About
As one of the city's original street food markets, Temple Quay Market has a long established reputation as one of the city's favourite places to enjoy an inspiring lunch with colleagues, friends and family.
With Bristol's rich and diverse street food culture, the range of food to be found at Temple Quay Market covers a huge variety of styles, including authentic Thai, Cantonese, Greek, Spanish and Malaysian, as well as food styles inspired by international travels, including Middle Eastern, Vietnamese, Texan, Korean - the list goes on, with an endless choice.
The market takes place on The Square in the heart of the Temple Quay district, just two minutes walk from Temple Meads station and a stone's throw from the eastern end of the harbour. A large waterside seating amphitheatre provides a substantial amount of seating for people to enjoy their lunch. A ferry point connects the area with the city centre.
Temple Quay Market was established in 2012 in response to a desire from the business community at Temple Quay to bring life to the public realm.
Initially a monthly market, it offered a range of lunches and food produce, but with the growth of the street food movement over the following years, this increasingly became the focus, and it soon became a weekly street food market. In 2022, it became twice weekly market, and now takes place every Tuesday and Thursday lunchtime.
