Competition Terms & Conditions

Entries must be received by 14:00 on 17 August 2026.           

The winner’s name will be available upon request 28 days after the closing date by emailing web@visitwest.co.uk 

In the event of unforeseen circumstances, Visit West reserves the right to cancel the competition or offer alternative prizes of equal or greater value.     

Visit West will not be responsible for lost or delayed entries due to technical issues, postal delays, or incomplete/damaged entries. Proof of entry does not guarantee receipt.     

The Editor's decision is final. No correspondence will be entered into.     

The winner’s details will be passed to all prize providers for prize fulfilment.       

Employees of Visit West, prize providers, their immediate families, and anyone professionally connected with the promotion are excluded from entering.        

If the entrant opts in, details may be shared with third-party prize providers. You may unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time.        

The prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and cannot be redeemed for cash or any monetary value.     

Prize includes two surf sessions (worth £120) from The Wave Bristol. Employees of The Wave, their immediate families, or anyone connected to the administration of the competition are not eligible to enter. The Prize includes 2 x surf vouchers, valid at The Wave Bristol, worth £60 each to use on any available session or lesson. The Prize vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of issue. The Wave reserves the right to cancel, amend or suspend the competition where necessary due to events beyond its reasonable control. 

Prize includes a meal for two at The Bowl, Almondsbury (starter and main course). Available to over-18s only, subject to availability. Includes food only. Drinks, desserts, specials, service charges, travel and any additional purchases are excluded. The prize must be redeemed within 12 months of notification. Advance booking required. Certain dates may be excluded (e.g. Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, Father's Day and bank holidays). 

Prize includes a one-night bed-and-breakfast stay for two at Almondsbury Inn. Subject to availability, and the hotel has the right to refuse a stay on selected dates. Prize must be claimed by the end of 2026. 

By entering the competition, you agree to be contacted by Visit Bristol if you are selected as the winner to inform you of the prizes you have won. If the winner cannot be contacted within 24 hours of the closing date, Visit West reserves the right to reallocate the prize to the next randomly drawn valid entry.     

The winner and their plus one must be over 18 years old. ID is required when claiming the prize.
