New for 2020

This self-guided tour will uncover the story of Banksy, and over 30 years of graffiti art history with 13 audio commentaries in 13 different locations in central Bristol.
Feel Comfortable With Social Distancing
What could be better in these post-lockdown times than a self-guided walking tour enabling your to explore Bristol whilst maintaining your own comfortable social-distancing? This newly developed web app has been designed especially to compliment the wishes of travellers and visitors when traditional public activities may need to be temporarily postponed. This app has developed a new way to explore.
An activation code enables two devices to run the app for 24 hours, so you don’t have to rush, and you can enjoy the areas of Bristol that you discover, from Stokes Croft to Park Street, to College Green and the historic harbourside.
The app is built around a traditional tour route where you can follow the Googlemap links and then enjoy compelling narrative telling the Banksy story, narrated by John Nation, a central figure in the Bristol scene and the Banksy story himself. There are archive photos and newly commissioned photos of the locations, providing an immersive experience.
As the self-guided tour is built using web technologies there is no downloading from an app store required.
For the self-guided tour you will need: headphones, 3g/4g connection, a smart phone with an internet browser.
It works on all all generations of smart phones.
An activation code costs £10 to purchase, and you can run it at any time that suits you. Remember that the code lasts for 24 hour, giving you plenty of time to explore. To get an activation code that will run two devices, please head over to www.wherethewall.com/self-guided-tours
