Blaise Castle Estate is a 650 acre parkland, which includes a museum and castle and a children’s play area. The play area is divided into 2 separate areas, one for young children and one for older children and are both fenced and dog-free. The young children’s area has a sand pit, swings, a climbing frame and a slide. Located in the older children’s play area is; a tree house climbing frame, trampoline, tube slides, basket swing, speaking tubes, roundabout, seesaw, high swings, climbing towers and a zip wire. Other facilities available are toilets with baby changing area, a café plus benches and picnic areas where BBQs are permitted. The estate provides good access for wheelchair users since it is a flat area and includes a lot of paths.
The main entrance is on Kings Weston Road, which is also on a bus route. A bus ride takes approximately 45 minutes from the city centre or a ride by car will take you about 20 minutes, with free parking at the estate.

Blaise Castle Estate is open every day from 7.30 am but closing times vary throughout the year:
Nov, Dec & Jan: 5.15 pm
Feb: 6.15 pm
Mar: 7.15 pm
Apr: 8.15 pm
May, Jun, Jul, Aug: 9.15 pm
Sept: 8.15 pm
Oct: 7.15 pm
