Come and spray your own street art souvenir art work and take it home
It’s no secret that Bristol is a hub for street artists, with huge murals and eye-catching designs at every corner. But for those inspired to spray their own art, award-winning organisation Where The Wall are running Summer Street Art Stencil Spray Sessions in central Bristol, allowing participants to put their skills to the test and spray their own artworks.
Running multiple times each month on Saturdays starting from 2pm until 3pm, the #SPRAYSTREETART “Introducing Stencil Art” Spray Sessions are running at Hamilton House in Stokes Croft after the Bristol Street Art Tour has finished.
These sessions introduce stencil art from the very beginnings of recorded-human history, to the modern day with Banksy art. Just what did inspire him to become so impressive at stencil art in a world of graffiti art in Bristol?
These sessions are a great way to spray street art, “get your hands on the cans” and take home some self-made artwork. (A2 artwork size which is 59cm by 42cm).
“I came with my wife for some fun, but I would definitely bring my daughter in future as the entire session was very child friendly. I also thought the location was really cool.” Alistair, visiting Bristol for the weekend from Somerset
“Our daughter absolutely loved the spray painting as an add on to the walking tour we had just done and a brilliantly interesting way to finish the day. Sophie is pleased as punch with the outcome of her two pictures.“ Paul from Bristol with his wife and 9 year old daughter
Grandmother Violet who brought her 14 year old grandson:
“My grandson Zac (14 years old) from London thought the session was great. He enjoyed having such of variety of paint available. It was great to find an activity that appealed to a wide age range. (There is not a lot to interest a teenager). We had been on the Street Art tour beforehand which we both enjoyed very much. I have earned a few brownie points and spent some quality time with Zac. Good Luck with future workshops. ”
