The biggest-ever celebration of women’s rugby, the Women's Rugby World Cup, comes to England from Friday 22 August until Saturday 27 September, and Bristol will be hosting two of quarter-final games and both semi-finals!

To help you catch even more of the action from this year's tournament, we've rounded up a list of places where you can watch the Women's Rugby World Cup around Bristol.

Bristol Fan Zone

The Fan Zone will be open on the same dates that Ashton Gate is hosting Rugby World Cup fixtures: 

  • 13 - 14 September, 11am - 7pm 

  • 19 September, 3pm - 9pm 

  • 20 September, 11am - 7pm 

Expect large LED screens and a great atmosphere on the harbourside! There will also be rugby activities, a craft area, food stalls and bars.  

Women's Rugby World Cup Fan Zone

Racks Bar and Kitchen 

With nine screens to choose from, Clifton sports bar Racks is a favourite Bristol hangout for watching live sport. They’ll be showing all Red Roses matches in their gallery space, with guests able to order game day food from their menu, including classic combos such as steak and chips, dirty fries and burgers. Racks are also running pint deals, shots and more, and if you want to bring your family along, they have a kids' menu too. 

Also at Rack's, Students enjoy 20% off, and sports fans can take advantage of multiple 2-for-1 deals, Monday to Friday.

King Street Brew House

With a microbrewery on site, King Street Brew House is the ideal place for serious beer lovers to watch all of the Rugby World Cup games. As well as a smashing selection of cask and keg beers, they have delicious chicken burgers, with vegan options available. 

Don’t miss King Street Brew House World Cup Party on Friday 19 September, where you can expect: Asahi on tap, live music and top quality vibes!

Hort's Townhouse

Enjoy an extensive selection of craft beers and delicious pub food while watching all the Women's Rugby World Cup Games in this large and stylish pub in the Old City. It's also a great place to get a roast for those Sunday matches.

The Whitmore Tap

The Whitmore Tap on Whiteladies Road is the perfect spot to watch the Women's Rugby World Cup with delicious food, snacks and a range of alcoholic and low alcoholic drinks. 

The pub will be showing the games upstairs and downstairs. Plus, if you want a private space to watch with your mates, their Wrington Room is available for exclusive use, which features its own bar and games.

6 O'clock Gin at The Glassboat

6 O’clock Gin at The Glassboat will be taking bookings for games shown on their projector screen. They will be showing the first World Cup Game - USA vs England on 22 August and the England vs Samoa game on 30 August. If you ask nicely at the bar and there is a game you'd like to be shown, they may be able to pop it on the telly for you! Make sure to take advantage of the double's happy hour (£6 for a double between 6-7pm).

St George’s Bristol

Watch the first Women's Rugby World Cup game, where the Red Roses will take on the USA at the Stadium of Light at St George’s Rugby World Cup Watch party. Free entry, but you can book tickets to guarantee a table reservation, drinks and nachos for your group.

Lock Keeper 

Looking for an escape out of the city? The lovely Lock Keeper pub in Keynsham will be showing all the games.

Chequers Inn

The charming Chequers Inn pub in Hanham is showing all of the matches. Paired with their stunning beer garden and delicious seasonal menu, it’s the perfect spot to make a day of the games.

Allstars Sports Bar 

Allstars Sports Bar on Queens Road in Clifton is a popular spot and will be showing every game on their 5-metre screen and more TVs around the venue. 

The Royal Oak Horfield

Situated on Gloucester Road, with ice-cold pints, delicious food, The Royal Oak has you covered during Rugby World Cup and will be showing all of the matches. 

Walkabout 

This sports bar on Corn Street will be showing every fixture across their multiple HD screens. Book ahead to secure your seat (and maybe a bucket of Ashai for you and your mates too). 

Steam

A 'quirky' venue sheltered behind Clifton Down Shopping Centre and loved by locals and students alike, catch all the action of the World Cup this year at Steam on multiple screens, whether inside, out on their alfresco terrace or in one of their 'Party buses' and outdoor terrace (weather permitting). 

O'Neills 

O'Neills on Baldwin Street will be showing all of the England matches, and bookings are available for ‘Best Seats in the House’ tickets. 

Green House

Set across multiple levels, this Park Street boozer is screening every game from the group stages to the final on their multitude of screens. They’ll also be hosting a HerGameToo Bottomless brunch with Bottomless pints on the line-up. 

The Cider Press

Eight massive screens, tasty craft beers and cider (up to 32 draughts!), pub classics like fish and chips and hand-stretched sourdough pizzas, plus a fantastic atmosphere all at the Cider Press. The perfect place to get you in full Rugby World Cup spirit and catch up on all the matches.
