Lakota is truly the beating heart of Bristol’s rich and longstanding musical scene. Having opened 28 years ago, countless acts have graced the decks, including Carl Cox, Eats Everything, Green Velvet, Congo Natty, My Nu Leng, Mala, Gentlemen’s Dub Club, Calibre, Stormzy and many, many more. The club pays tribute to the heritage of Bristol’s music scene with impressive street art adorning the outer walls. Inside, a world class soundsystem powered by Void and a lighting set up to blow your mind exceed all expectations of an old brewery.
With competitive drinks prices, polite staff and security and 5 rooms to explore (including an old Coroner’s Court), Lakota is certainly a one stop shop for all your nightlife needs. From Disco to Drum & Bass, Techno to Dubstep – and a monthly visit from the UK’s largest Psytrance night, Tribe Of Frog – all genres, tastes and customers are catered for.
Drinks prices are competitive with the rest of the city and being situated just off of Stokes Croft, they’re central and accessible to all.
