Bristol's Christmas Market (5 November – 23 December)

Follow the smell of churros and bratwurst to Bristol Shopping Quarter where you’ll find festive stalls selling everything from sweet treats to Christmas crafts, plus live music and entertainment from Santa and his reindeer. Shopped-out visitors can warm up with mulled wine in the Jäger Barn Bar or one of the cosy igloo pods.

Bristol Pop-Up Shop at The Galleries (18 November – 24 December) 

The Pop-Up Shop returns to the first floor of The Galleries, showcasing gifts from over 80 talented local makers, artists and designers. Expect beautiful illustrations, handcrafted homeware, elegant stationery, adult and kids clothing, fun craft kits, handmade ceramics, edible delights and more. 

Christmas at St Nicholas Market (14 November – 24 December)

There’s sled-loads of good ol’ fashioned Christmas cheer to be had at St Nick’s. The permanent indoor buildings and outdoor stalls of the market have been around for a whopping 276 years and are home to the largest collection of independent retailers in the city. It’s a perfect spot for gift ideas and delicious seasonal food.

For homemade and organic festive goodies, pop down to the themed outdoor markets, running alongside the daily Christmas stalls from 10 December until Christmas Eve:

  • Street Food Market: Tuesday and Friday, 11am-2.30pm
  • Bristol’s Farmers' and Producers' Market: Every other Wednesday, 9:30am-2.30pm
  • Indies' Market: Friday and Saturday, 10am-5pm

Finzels Reach Christmas Market (25 November)

Update 26/11/21: Finzels Reach Christmas Market on 27 November has been cancelled due to bad weather.  

A host of local producers and crafters will be setting up shop in Finzels Reach. Browse gifts from locally made spirits, to gemstone jewellery, to macrame plant pots, with a soundtrack of live music from local talent. 

Bristol Local Christmas Market (26 November – 23 December)

Running alongside Bristol's Christmas Market in the heart of Bristol Shopping Quarter, the Bristol Local Christmas Market will have a mix of local artists and makers, selling unique handmade gifts and locally sourced yuletide food and drink. It’s the perfect place to stock up on Christmassy table treats such as scrumptious West Country cider, cheese and chestnuts.

Temple Quay Christmas Market (26 November)

Makers selling homewares, prints, festive wreaths and more will be at Temple Quay between 11am-6pm. Keep your energy levels up in between gift shopping with the delicious eats on offer, including Sri Lankan dishes from Ceylon and Beyond and Persian kebabs from Open Sesame.

Made in Bristol Gift Fair at Bristol Beacon (Weekends from 27 November to 12 December)

Made in Bristol's Gift Fair returns to the glittering foyer at Bristol Beacon, showcasing up to 200 talented designer-makers across three weekends. From super stocking fillers to grander gifts for a special someone, you'll find an eclectic range of locally made artisan products including jewellery, toys, ceramics, prints and home accessories.

The Clifton Club Christmas Fair (Saturday 27 November)

Join The Clifton Club for stalls from local exhibitors, unique gifts, mince pies and more. There's a voluntary £3 donation for entry, with proceeds going to The Marmalade Trust. 

Winter Fairs: Christmas Makers Market & Art Studios at Estate of the Arts (Five fairs between 14 November and 12 December)

Head to Estate of the Art for festive fairs every other Sunday and on Thursday evenings, in line with North Street's late night shopping and winter events. With new stalls at every market, there'll be a vast selection of ceramics, fashion, homewares, art, candles and aromatherapies, clothing and accessories on offer. Live music, pop-up animation cinema, talks, open art studios, workshops, hot food and refreshments will also keep you entertained.
