This summer, explore what South Gloucestershire has to offer, from one of Europe’s largest inland surfing lakes to wholesome countryside retreats.  

Check in to The Almondsbury Inn, nestled on the cusp of the beautiful South Gloucestershire countryside, just north of Bristol. As well as staying in one of the hotel’s cosy modern rooms, you’ll enjoy a hearty breakfast in the morning, fuelling you for the day’s adventures.  

After breakfast, head over to the nearby village of Easter Compton, where you’ll find The Wave. You and your plus one will have a one-hour surfing lesson, with the chance to ride as many waves as you can muster!

We’re sure that with all the surfing, you will have worked up an appetite, but don’t worry; there’s a wholesome meal with your name on it at The Bowl Inn back in Almondsbury. Take your pick from their selection of British pub classics, all while taking in the building’s historic charm.
