The Cafe & Bar at Artist Residence Bristol
About
Located in the creative St Pauls community, just minutes from Bristol's city centre, this Georgian townhouse & old boot factory is an eccentric home from home in the heart of the city.
Artist Residence Library bar & café is a homely, laid-back affair, featuring floor-to-ceiling windows throughout, original cornicing, vintage rugs, velvet armchairs, bar and fireplace. Textured, stripped walls provide a rustic backdrop for dynamic artworks including a diamond-dust ‘Party Like it’s 1999’ original work by Dave Buonaguidi and a commissioned piece by local artist Rose Vickers, with geometric patterns made from vintage school rulers.
Enjoy drinks at The Library with beers from local brewery Lost & Grounded and signature cocktails including the Smoky Martini with Laphroaig 10yr, brandy, orange liqueur & caramel syrup, all served alongside cheese & charcuterie boards.
In early 2022 the bar, cafe & kitchen will open to the public, an extensive space across the entire ground floor of the building with a coffee bar & lounge, intimate dining room peppered with eclectic artwork, plant-filled courtyard garden and a central bar with double-height glass ceiling and original factory steel beams.
