Bristol's festival season kicks off with two of the city's most popular music events, Love Saves the Day and Dot to Dot

It's the last weekend of Bristol Walk Fest and North Somerset Walk Fest, with plenty of outdoor trails, tours and activities to join in with.

Catch some thrilling theatre and live performances as part of Mayfest throughout the weekend, or watch live painting and join in with street art activities for Upfest Presents..., as well as Weston Wallz over in Weston-super-Mare.

Family fun

Keep the whole family entertained with a trip to Bristol Zoo Project, sights and smells from the past at Brunel's SS Great Britain, underwater adventures at Bristol Aquarium, wonderous cave systems and Scooby Doo 4D cinema at Wookey Hole, a wonderous maze of rooms at Wake the Tiger, or the chance to see Concorde at Aerospace Bristol.

There's also plenty of choice for all ages at The Grand Pier in Weston-super Mare, or along the coast at Brean Theme Park.
