Traditionally, you'll find the most fireworks on Bonfire Night (or Guy Fawkes Night), which is celebrated on 5 November every year in the UK, to commemorate Guy Fawkes’ unsuccessful Gunpowder Plot in 1605.

Every year, Bristol marks Bonfire Night with a series of spectacular family-friendly firework displays in and around the city, from community firework celebrations such as the Downend Round Table Fireworks, to a display set to music at Avon Valley and Adventure Park in Keynsham, just a short distance from Bristol.

If you’re sensitive to loud noises, several venues host a low noise displays (including one at Old Down Country Park on the northern outskirts of the city) or firework-free events like the Bonfire Night event in Victoria Park in Bedminster, which are ideal for families (and pets!).

There are also firework displays to celebrate other occasions throughout the year in Bristol, such as New Year’s Eve. More events are added to the website every day, so keep checking this page for updates.
