Top events over the weekend
Head along to Bristol Craft Beer Festival to sample from a selection of over 300 beers, as well as ciders and other drinks. Or take the whole family along to Wild Weekend in Bristol's Millennium Square as part of this year's Festival of Nature, with stalls, live music, workshops and more. You can also watch the first ever Bristol Birdman event in the harbour from 10am on Father's Day!
Get up close to cars at the Mach 2 Motor Show at Aerospace Bristol or Sanctioned UK Car Show at Ashton Gate Stadium, both on Father's Day. Or book a ticket to see War Horse at Bristol Hippodrome for a memorable night out.
Family days out
Looking for fun for all the family? Explore the mind-boggling world of Merida at Wake The Tiger, or wave at the fishes at Bristol Aquarium. Get hands on with exhibits or watch a planetarium show at We The Curious, meet the animals at Bristol Zoo Project, or learn about Bristol's past and present at M Shed. Looking for a more casual day of food and drink? Make a day of it by visiting our local breweries, or sampling their wares in a pub. If your dad is more of a wine connoisseur, treat them to a wine tasting at KASK in Southville or Veeno near Temple Meads. Or head to Spirited for a cocktail or whisky flight.

If you and your father figure are more of a do-er, you can explore the experiences on Yuup or The Indytute: book some stand-up paddle boarding on the Bristol Harbourside, take a hard hat tour of the vaults undeneath Clifton Suspension Bridge, or team up for Disc Golf or archery at Mendip Activty Centre.
