Bristol is known for its vegan food and that applies to the takeaways on offer as much as the sit-in restaurants. Here are some top places with delicious vegan menus you can order from right now, sure to tempt long-time veggies and vegan newbies alike.
The Coconut Tree
The Sri Lankan restaurant has kicked off this year with a brand-new plant-based menu starring 16 dishes. In keeping with their street food theme, these include hoppers, a bowl shaped coconut milk pancake with sambal and Sri Lankan Salsa; pineapple curry cooked in coconut milk and fennel; and fat sister pumpkin curry made with fragrant curry leaves, garlic and green chilli.
Choose collection and you can tuck in with 50% off on Mondays to Wednesdays all the way through to 17 June (the Gloucester Road branch is open right now – look out for updates on Clifton when Covid-19 restrictions ease).
