Bristol is home to its very own coffee festival as well as an array of coffee roasters based in around the city - look out for them on the menu boards of the city’s independent coffee shops, or ask the barista if you can try something roasted locally. Pinkmans have cafe-bakeries dotted across the city, from Clifton and Stokes Croft to Bristol Cathedral.
Most of Bristol’s coffee shops sell yummy cakes, pastries, as well as lots of good alternatives for non-caffeine drinkers too, from herbal teas to hot chocolates. If you’re looking for something a bit sturdier, many cafes also have a selection of sandwiches, soups and baked goods to fill you up.
Head to Watershed, Arnolfini, No.1 Harbourside or Mud Dock for a cuppa with a harbour view, or Dareshack, Spicer + Cole, Small St Espresso and Full Court Press for speciality coffee.
